About Us

Deciding on an educational facility for your child is a very personal decision. It is important to get all the facts about the facility before you decide.


At Futureland Montessori School we foster an environment of education, creativity and fun. Our students are extremely well rounded and perform numerous activities including mathematics, reading and writing. They also learn how to communicate, develop social skills and interact with other students. In addition we do many art projects, computer classes, dance classes in order to develop our students creativity. The goal of our activities is to simultaneously educate and develop our students.


Faculty

Each and everyone of our teachers are well qualified and have a wealth of experience in early childhood education. They have attained their Montessori diplomas, Preschool diplomas and some have even attained their masters in child development. In addition, all of our teachers are CPR trained in order to provide a secure environment for your child. Even more importantly, our teachers are loving, caring mothers who know the beauty of a child.


These vital aspects of our staff are exemplified by our director Ms. Mali Munaweera who has 30 years of experience in the child care profession. She has a masters in early childhood education, a Montessori diploma, a Preschool diploma and has worked in Africa, Asia and the United States.


Facility

We have four spacious modern classrooms fully equipped with Montessori equipment, educational materials, books, computers, audio visual teaching aids and much more. We also have large colorful play structures in our extensive play ground and a safe convenient parking lot. Overall our school fosters a fun, safe and a secure environment for your child.

What We Offer

Ages- 18 months through 12 years.

Open year round. 6 a.m - 6 p.m

Lunch and two snacks provided.

Your choice of time and days, part time/full time.

Potty training.

Computer classes at no extra cost.

Before and after school care for elementary school children. Children are helped with their home work assignments.

Transportation to and from elementary schools in the vicinity.

Summer program.
